The core work output of the role is to apply a best approach to manage its resources through effective identification and management of risks, development of effective standard procedures, actively drive financial and production processes via budget and monthly forecasts, training of human resources in own functional area and the application of effective safety programmes. This role has the legal accountability with a 3.1 appointment in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act Regulations in force in terms of schedule 4 of the Mine Health and Safety Act

Bachelor of Engineering – Mining or National Diploma in Metalliferous Mining
Mining Manager’s Certificate of Comptence
AMMSA Membership
Prior experience in Section 3.1 (a) Appointment
At least 10 year’s experience in mining production environment
At least 5 year’s management experience in a mining production environment
Knowledge of applicable legislation, policies and procedures (SHERQ, MHSA)
