Zinhle Matentji, Founder and CEO
Zinhle is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer at SearchSpecifics TRANSEARCH Africa. With over 15 years experience in the executive search industry. Zinhle founded SearchSpecifics in 2005 and partnered with TRANSEARCH International in 2015. We have offices in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Nigeria, and growing.
Zinhle is a visionary in her own right who built the business from the ground-up. Her business conversion rate is above par, and is achieved through her natural and assertive impetus of opening doors and building winning relationships. She is able to push performance improvement whilst at the same time delivering exceptional growth.
Zinhle’s philosophy on talent acquisition is rooted in finding great leaders who have a burning desire to set their career agenda; and match these individuals with clients. She receives enormous satisfaction when she knows she has created a winning partnership between both the client and leadership talent. Seeing the talent journey unfold, leaders who make a difference and take companies to the next level of performance and sustainability through the process of talent acquisition, growth and retention is what fuels her.
Zinhle holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree from Rhodes University as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management; and a Certificate in Organization and Relationship Systems Coaching. She began her career in the recruitment field as a researcher at a global executive search firm. Having valuable exposure and experience in this role, and armed with knowledge about a number of diverse industries, she was headhunted by a leading South African search firm as an account executive.
Simphiwe Dlungwana, Associate Director
Simphiwe has been a member of SearchSpecifics TRANSEARCH Africa since the organisation’s inception, starting his career as a Researcher. However, overtime his affinity to the field of business development grew and he became a Business Development Associate in 2007. Today as the Associate Director in the firm, he specialises in the Mining, Parastatal, FMCG, Financial, Logistics/Supply Chain, and Petro-chemicals sectors. Simphiwe is an excellent databank of information and first-rate interpersonal skills with the ability to convert relationships into sustainable business. Through-out his twelve years he has worked on CEO, CFO, Vice President, and Head of Department roles.
Simphiwe holds a certificate in Marketing from Boston College and is pursuing further studies in Human Resource Management. He is passionate about the growth of professionals within the corporate environment as he feels that everyone can design their own career path and fulfil it.
Marc Eastwood, Head of Operations and Strategy; Executive Coach
Marc is the Head of Operations and Strategy at SearchSpecifics TRANSEARCH Africa. Together with the Managing Director, he provides strategic direction and keeps SearchSpecifics TRANSEARCH Africa at the forefront of the Executive Search Industry. Marc also manages the firm’s consultants to ensure they realise their potential and continue to provide the high quality of service they have come to expect. Added to his portfolio is the development of the Executive Coaching Division which plans to facilitate personal and organizational growth with critical life-long leadership skills.
He brings to the role a decade’s worth of operations and business development experience in New York City, Cape Town and Johannesburg, much of it at the senior management and executive levels in both the non-profit and private sectors.
A Masters in Professional Studies (Arts and Cultural Management) graduate from the prestigious Pratt Institute in New York, Marc also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Barry University Miami, Florida. Certificates in Project Management; Executive Coaching: Conversations that inspire, Coaching Learning, Leadership and Change; and Organization and Relationship Systems Coaching.
