Steward and conduct specialized, sophisticated, solution based problem solving business analytics related to pricing, investments, competitor, etc

The Company is a South African private company that has been established as a joint collaboration. It has negotiated the exclusive distribution and manufacturing rights for the Freedom Power System (“FPS”) fuel cell and related power generation products developed by Altergy. The FPS looks to displace traditional backup power (batteries and diesel generators) used in base station telecommunications but has other backup power uses across numerous applications (i.e. data centers, mission critical systems, etc.)

The Company will look to initially focus on market development which will entail the marketing, importation and distribution of the FPS to end users. They will look to assemble and manufacture the complete FPS in South African once sufficient volume has been stimulated.

• To oversee and assume accountability for the operations of all centrally managed service activities across the company (i.e. Legal & Compliance, Information Technology, Facilities and Corporate Social Investment) for organisational efficiency.

This function is a board function, should not be involved with the activities of the Bank’s EXCO & therefore, does not need to be an EXCO member. Reporting to the Chairperson of the The Company’s Board the incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that the Board function effectively and that The Company complies with the new Companies Act and other relevant legislation, regulations and policy.

•Develop and implement an integrated communications strategy in collaboration with local and remote teams and in alignment with the global and regional communications strategies.
•By making use of the marketing and communications mix, support growth objectives and build awareness of the Company brand across Sub-Saharan Africa, with particular focus on South Africa, Nigeria and Kenya
•Deliver excellence in brand positioning, digital communications, CRM, media relations and PR, employee engagement and internal communications, as well as issues and crisis management
•Reach key audiences in Government and other relevant stakeholders (NGOs, communities, etc… as needed) as well as food, building & construction, energy, mining, safety/protection industries with targeted communication campaigns
•Guide excellence in communication i.e. competency development, best practice compliance in metrics and measurement

To manage and coordinate the efficient and effective implementation of the end-to-end debt management and collection strategy within the Operations Division and to ensure its alignment with the strategy, mission and objectives of Operations and The Company as a whole.

To bring an integrated approach to risk management for the entire Company. The job has an overall responsibility for risk management and is also required to expand the risk management to encompass a wider range of enterprise risks. The enterprise risks for The Company are categorized as follows: financial risks, operational risks, business risks and events risks.
